Practice Information

One Practice, Two Sites

West Moors Village Surgery serves just over 5,600 patients from two sites, one at Vernon House and one at Heathlands House, both in Station Road.

As our patient records are computerised, we offer appointments for GP consultations and health care services at either of these locations.   Patients will be offered the first available appointment, which may be via telephone or in person at either of these surgeries.

WE ARE A TRAINING PRACTICE

West Moors Village Surgery is an approved training and research practice and is involved in training tomorrow’s doctors. Our practice is approved to train fully qualified doctors who wish to specialise in general practice. Our GP registrar will have had 2-4 years of experience as a qualified hospital doctor working in various specialities.

We teach students at this practice. This may involve group video calls to our patients. These calls will be confidential & used only teaching purposes. We will always ask you first and get consent to use video calls for teaching.
