Facilities

Access for disabled patients or those with mobility issues

We make every effort to make the surgery accessible for disabled patients. There is access through the main door and we have a wheelchair available for use in surgery.

We provide parking spaces, disabled access and toilet facilities for the physically disabled (within the limitations of the building). If you need any assistance in accessing the surgery please let us know upon booking your appointment. We have a portable hearing Induction loop to assist the hearing impaired.

There is limited car parking, including disabled car spaces, behind our Heathlands House site. On road parking is also available in Farm Road.

Transportation

West Moors Village Surgery is easy to find, with both our branches being located on Station Road in the village centre.  Patient parking is available behind both our surgery branches, though please note this is limited, so patients may wish to consider public transport or volunteer NeighbourCar options if possible.

The Practice is situated on the main bus route through West Moors with bus stops on Station Road. West Moors NeighbourCar is a oluntary car scheme with priority given to medical appointments. More information is available on the Help and Kindness website by following this link>>

For those with Hearing Difficulties

If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or nurse, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance.
