The building we rent is not exactly purpose built. It wasn’t ideal for 4000 patients in 2005, so taking blood and nursing in the boiler room (in the carpark) hasn’t really helped seeing the 5200 patients we now have.

The lease includes a set number of car parking spaces for us, the chemists, chiropractic and the residents who live in the flats (please don’t park in their spaces). To try and ease the awful access we will experiment with getting our staff to park in Farm Road unless they need to be in and out i.e. on call. We will do this in January and hope that patient spaces aren’t used by shoppers. It hasn’t been too popular with our staff when mooted in the past, so if you can give some feedback on this form it would be appreciated.
